THACO branch provides flood relief to northern Ha Giang Province

THACO's Song Cong Branch in northern Thai Nguyen Province has presented relief to Ha Giang Province in northeast region which has been struck by landslides and severe floods in July 2020.

In response to Thai Nguyen Charity Association’s assistance request, the Branch's labor union and communications department opened a flood relief campaign throughout the unit, calling on staff members to donate foods and essential aids for the provincial flood victims.

After 4 days, Thai Nguyen branch collected 250kg of rice, instant noodle, clothes, shoes and learning tools.  
"We are grateful to THACO for all the company has done,” said Nguyen Ba Duc, Chairman of Thai Nguyen Charity Association showed his great appreciation when receiving the aids. He was impressed with the donation’s quick implementation and better-than-expected outcomes.

He added that the disaster came suddenly, making people short of foods in many days. The support arrived just in time to help relieve the pain, went directly to the flood victims at Coc Nam village in Ha Giang Province on August 1.

The relief work shows THACO’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) spirit that the company always embraces.
