On Nov. 3 and 4, the conference was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Danang People's Committee. The event attracted the participation of nearly 400 delegates, including more than 100 supporting industry manufacturing enterprises in mechanics, electronics, automobiles, packaging, etc. THACO INDUSTRIES was the program's Diamond sponsor.


Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of Industry Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade said, "We are witnessing improvements in manufacturing and supporting industries, which are making significant contributions to the national socioeconomic development. However, there are still major deadlocks. To boost the industry development, in the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will follow several action plans, including completing State policies and legal documents, focusing resources on developing industries which gives Vietnam the economic advantages, creating a favorable investment and business environment, and developing the industrial business system."  



The conference was an opportunity to connect supporting industry enterprises in Da Nang city, central Vietnam, the Central Highlands and provinces and cities across the country for further cooperation, and to expand connections with multinational corporations and foreign investors, step by step increasing their competitiveness in the international market, participating in the global supply chain. At the event, the businesses discussed and proposed development solutions for the industry.


Joining the event as a pioneer to develop supporting industries on a large scale in the central Key Economic Region and Vietnam, THACO INDUSTRIES introduced its strategy, vision, production scale, etc. The corporation also affirmed its responsibility as a leading enterprise to form an ecosystem by means of cooperation and partnership with domestic and foreign partners to develop the supply chain for supporting industry products. Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Minh Tam - THACO INDUSTRIES President said it was necessary to strengthen the connection between businesses. In particular, large enterprises that have already participated in the supply chain will play the role of connecting and sharing technologies, governance competence and orders to assist the SMEs step by step to participate in the value chain as level-2 or level-3 suppliers, gradually becoming larger-scale suppliers.

Also at the event, the THACO INDUSTRIES President signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in developing supporting industry production capacity with Da Nang Industry and Trade Promotion Center, opening up opportunities for cooperation between THACO INDUSTRIES and other manufacturing companies in the city.
