This cooperation will significantly contribute to the development of the East-West Economic Corridor, particularly its connection to Vietnam's Central Key Economic Region via the Nam Giang International Border Checkpoint. Sectors like forestry, tourism, and transportation stand to benefit greatly from this."

Quang Nam will prioritize securing Central Government investment for the expansion and upgrade of National Highway 14D. Additionally, the provincial party secretary proposed collaborative efforts with provinces along the corridor, including discussions to refine mechanisms and policies, aiming for smoother customs clearance, immigration processes at border gates, and ultimately, an environment that fosters investment, production, and business cooperation for enterprises.
