The laurel wreath awarded in the show’s 25th season also marks THACO’s 9-year partnership with the knowledge contest, seeking to light the fire for learning among young people.

Highlights in THACO AUTO Chu Lai technical improvement movement

In recent years, the technical initiative and improvement movement has been widespread in THACO AUTO Chu Lai factories and units, both in quantity and quality, which has helped to improve their efficiency significantly. THACO Kia was one of the most innovative factories with nearly 290 projects in 2022. Among those, Mr. Nguyen Luyen, leader of the front floor welding team, KIA welding workshop has stood out with 11 improvement projects of his own.
Plastic workshop – Plastic component plant doubles down on research to improve efficiency

The plastic workshop of THACO INDUSTRIES's Plastic component plant has been equipped with different advanced machines and equipment. For example, pressing machines can deliver clamping forces from 110 tons to 3,200 tons. Or blow molding machines have a capacity of 10 to 30 liters, and can blow volumes up to 7 kilograms, imported from Austria and South Korea. Besides, there are plastic drying devices and an automated material feeding system.
THACO INDUSTRIES trains MAG welding techniques for new employees

To improve technical skills and ensure working safety for new welding workers, from May 8 to May 25, THACO INDUSTRIES and THACO College organize the basic MAG (Metal Active Gas) welding techniques training (3 classes) for 30 new employees of the Semi-trailers and Heavy Components Company.
THACO organizes Internal trainer training program

On May 20 and May 26, THACO opened an Internal trainer course for 30 senior employees and potential leaders at THACO Headquarters. The course was lectured by Mr. Phan Tiem, the THACO College Director to develop internal lecturers with training skills, class management capacity and expertise among staff members at THACO's operations management departments.

On May 23, at the awarding ceremony to recognize the triumphs of the Vietnam women's soccer teams (the national and the U22) at the 32nd SEA Games at Vietnam Football Federation hall, THACO presented VND1 billion to the national women soccer team, a SEA Games gold-medal winner.
