In a recent visit, Mr. Thanouxay Banxalith, Vice Governor of Attapeu Province along with other provincial leaders, toured and held meetings at the HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex.

During their visit, Mr. Doan Ba Phi, Director of HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex, provided a warm welcome and detailed presentation in which he covered the history and development of both THACO AGRI and HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex.

Mr. Doan Ba Phi addressed the Attapeu Provincial Leadership Board regarding the presence of interspersed households within the project's designated area. He presented specific and long-term solutions to manage this situation.

The delegation was impressed by THACO AGRI's scale, production capacity, and its overall agricultural development strategy. They particularly commended the company's positive social impact, especially its commitment to the well-being of workers through social security programs in Attapeu Province and Laos.

Attapeu Province's Vice Governor, Mr. Thanouxay Banxalith, praised THACO AGRI's project, highlighting its significance as a key agricultural initiative for the province's current and future development. He expressed his commitment to supporting the complex by conducting surveys to verify household locations and actively assisting with legal matters, compensation procedures, and household relocation.

The HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex management team is expected to finalize its collaboration with local authorities in Sanamxay, Saysettha, Samxay, and Phouvong by the end of March. This will facilitate the implementation of the proposed solutions outlined for the project. 

To conclude the visit, the delegation embarked on a field trip to relevant areas within the Complex's agricultural project in Saysettha district, including firsthand inspections of mango farms numbered 18 and 15, and so on.
