Dai Quang Minh breaks ground on Component Project 1: Ma Da Bridge to Ba Hao Junction Section
In Tri An Ward, Dong Nai City, the city People's Committee on June 30 broke ground on Component Project 1: Section from Ma Da Bridge to Ba Hao Junction. The project follows a public-private partnership (PPP) development model in the form of a Build-Transfer agreement. This is the first section of the route connecting Ma Da Bridge in Dong Nai to Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 4, with Dai Quang Minh as the investor.

Spanning roughly 13 kilometers, the section will be built as an elevated expressway with an eight-lane viaduct structure. With a total investment of about VND 17 trillion, the project is expected to be completed within 18 months. Once finished, the road will link directly to Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road 4, Long Thanh International Airport, seaports, key industrial parks and logistics hubs, expanding new development space and strengthen connectivity across Vietnam’s Southeastern region.
Unlike previous projects, this one passes through the Dong Nai Culture and Nature Reserve, part of the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve’s core. It is the company's first project built in an area of exceptional ecological value, requiring advanced technical solutions to satisfy both infrastructure development with nature conservation requirements.
For that reason, from the start, Dai Quang Minh has worked closely with government agencies, experts, and scientists to determine the most optimal solution. As a result, the project will use a continuous-span viaduct design that creates open ecological spaces beneath, enabling wild animals to move freely, protecting natural vegetation, and minimizing impact on the forest ecosystem.
It is also the first project in Vietnam to apply balanced cantilever construction technology for segmental bridge decks, with most components manufactured off-site on production lines outside the reserve before being transported to the construction site for installation. With this approach, construction can improve quality, shorten time, reduce material consumption and carbon emissions, meet green building standards, and minimize environmental impacts.

On behalf of the investor, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tue, THACO Vice President and Dai Quang Minh President, said: "We are committed to mobilizing maximum resources and applying our management expertise and experience in large-scale projects to deliver this project on schedule, with quality, safety, and efficiency. We will also adhere to all environmental protection requirements, try our best to preserve the forest ecosystem, and safeguard the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve throughout the project."
Acknowledging the investor's commitment, Mr. Ho Van Ha, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai City People's Committee, said the project plays an important role in completing the region's transport infrastructure, expanding development space, and creating new growth momentum for the locality. He also recognized the Group's competency in large-scale infrastructure projects and asked the company to focus on ensuring quality, timeline, and strict compliance with environmental and ecological conservation regulations during construction.
Given its scale, technical demands, and advanced engineering solutions, Component Project 1: Ma Da Bridge to Ba Hao Junction is not merely a key infrastructure project for Dong Nai City but also demonstrates Dai Quang Minh's capability in large-scale project delivery which demands special technical and environmental standards, advancing modern, well-connected infrastructure that is in harmony with nature.
