THACO kicks off lunar year 2018 operations with high enthusiasm and determination
During the ceremony, all staff members listened to Chairman Tran Ba Duong's 2018 Message. It specified the aims and missions for 2018 the first year in THACO's new development strategy as a "Vietnamese multi-industry group in the level of ASEAN groups, of which auto manufacture and business is at its core". Meanwhile, the Message also point out the directions, strategies, and business plans for PC, CV, logistics, auto distribution and retail, infrastructure and real estate investments, agricultural industrialization, and especially management competence - one of the main elements in making THACO the Vietnamese biggest auto enterprise.
Following the Chairman's message, THACO's management and representative employees delivered their addresses in showing the determination and efforts to accomplish the 2018 targets in the spirit of "dedication in contribution, willingness in devotion", having high confidence that THACO will be CONFIDENT IN INTEGRATION and FORGE AHEAD SUSTAINABLY thanks to the strong commitment to turn challenges into opportunities of the entire THACO family.
In THACO's Chu Lai Complex in Quang Nam province on the central coast, the ceremony was attended by leaders of provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, and People's Council.
In his speech in response to the Chairman's Message, THACO Deputy CEO Pham Van Tai made commitments to fulfilling THACO's strategy, developing the Complex into the national Multi-purpose Auto and Mechanical Engineering Center at the level of ASEAN. Later, 3 representatives of the Complex’s management, engineers, and technicians also shared their thoughts on the new year, along with the new enthusiasm and spirit, believing 2018 will be a successful and triumphant year for THACO.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Secretary of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, said THACO has made great contributions to turn Quang Nam into an industrial province. The upcoming 15th anniversary of Chu Lai Open Economic Zone is also the highlight of 15 years in which THACO has made its footprint in Quang Nam's Chu Lai. He highly trusted that with THACO's well-established resources and experience, as well as the high determination and big efforts from the entire company, the Corporation will continue to be a great conqueror of big challenges and new success during the integration.On behalf of Quang Nam leaders, he sent New Year wishes to THACO's employees, wishing THACO having more confident in its sustainable forging ahead.
Also at the event, THACO handed over VND2 billion to Quang Nam Fund for the Needy via the provincial Father's Front Committee. With this sponsorship, THACO hopes to support the disadvantaged on the occasion of the new lunar year.
