On November 3, the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024 concluded with a thrilling final match and closing ceremony at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s Stadium. THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong graced the event and presented the championship trophy to the Quang Ninh Trade Union team.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Quang Phuong, the Vietnam National Assembly’s Vice Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Chairman; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Vice Chairman and Head of the Tournament Committee; Mr. Le The Chu, and Mr. Tran Xuan Toan, Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper and Head of the Tournament Committee; along with representatives from local departments and agencies.

The final match ended in a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes, leading to a tense penalty shootout where Quang Ninh Trade Union emerged victorious with a 4-3 score against Sacombank Binh Duong, becoming the champions of the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament 2024.

The closing ceremony saw THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong and other delegates congratulating and awarding the championship trophy and a prize of VND150 million to the Quang Ninh Trade Union team.
